There is a Church in California where a Reverend has been ministering to the forgotten and destitute of society for forty years. Seeing him feeding the hungry, clothing the poor and loving the unlovable is an inspiration to all who have a desire to make a difference.
One person making a difference
"A 72-year-old North Carolina school custodian was treated to a surprise trip to San Francisco courtesy of some enterprising and very generous fifth graders. His lifelong wish was granted when they raised over $2000 to send him and his wife to the city by the bay. 'Every time I think about it, it makes me cry,' he said."
Children making a difference
Grace, 7, decided to sell her toys and all of her stuffed animals at a garage sale to help raise money for sick kids. She gave the proceeds, $650, to a man named Albert who, himself, had donated all his money from shining shoes at the hospital twice a week. The money went to the Children's Hospital Free Care Fund. They have raised $130,000 to date! All this from one 7 year old and one gentleman…..
They made a difference…
