Charlie Engle is considered the top endurance athlete in the world. He began his running career as a weekend warrior, doing 5K races, but it didn’t stop there…Charlie became the 1st human being to run across the Sahara…and has also run 200 miles, non-stop! In addition, Charlie is an entrepreneur, a television producer of ABC-TV’s MEGA hit, Extreme Makeover, Home Edition, and is the principal subject of the movie, “Running the Sahara,” which was Executive Produced and Narrated by Matt Damon. His message during his run across the Sahara Desert was to bring awareness to the issue of clean water in Africa. Charlie will help change the face of America by bringing awareness to Feeding Families, Inc., and helping us raise enough to donate truckloads of fresh frozen vegetables across this nation. Charlie believes that there are three words that will transform your life, and turn hope and dialogue into real change. Those three words are simply… DO SOMETHING NOW!
